The Planus (PLA530) is a 30-inch standard-definition 480p digital TV from German manufacturer Loewe. Attractively styled, it's available in platinum or matte black. The Planus tabletop model provides an alternative to the dull box in the middle of your den. The screen has the widescreen 16: 9 aspect ratio, and features multiple zoom modes for viewing 4: 3 images, dual-tuner PIP and 6 loudspeakers. This TV series from Loewe includes the Art, the Planus, the Arcada and the Calida. All share a host of features including a digital comb filter and video-noise reduction for an improved picture. They all have on-screen setup guides that include color-coded connection diagrams. All have VGA and component-video inputs, as well as front-panel connections for camcorders video games and headphones. MTS stereo decoding and auto volume control improve the listening experience.
