Appreciate improved sound system sound with your number one speaker framework and the Denon PMA-A110 110-Year Anniversary Edition Stereo 160W Integrated Amplifier. It yields up to 80W per channel at 8 ohms and highlights an advanced coaxial, three optical, and four sound system RCA inputs. One RCA input is assigned for pre-amp network, so you can utilize the PMA-A110 to drive the front speakers in your home theater framework. A back USB-B port lets your PC associate straightforwardly to the installed DAC. The enhancer has a progression of development highlights intended to decrease undesirable commotion, vibration, and impedance for clear sound.
80W per Channel at 8 Ohms
The PMA-A110 is designed to provide all the power you'll need for most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, delivering up to 80W per channel at 8 ohms and supporting 4- to 16-ohm speakers for enhanced operational stability.
Designed to Provide a Premium Listening Experience
The PMA-A110 features aluminum feet and a double-layer steel transformer plate crafted for precision and refinement.
7th Generation Advanced UHC-MOS Single Push-Pull Circuit Design
The onboard Advanced UHC (Ultra-High Current)-MOS Single Push-Pull Circuit design combines with a differential two-stage amplifier circuit to drive nearly any speaker configuration with augmented sound quality. To enhance the balance between the delicate details of music reproduction and the vigor of low-frequency sound, the PMA-A110 can deliver a massive current output in a single push-pull configuration to drive even demanding speakers and help ensure integrity in the output stage.
High-Precision Electrical Controls
The electrical volume, balance, and tone controls of the PMA-A110 are engineered to preserve the analog feel. An MCU measures the position of the knob and converts that position to control the master volume digitally to provide a smooth, linear control of the master volume by adjusting the curve of the analog volume control in the digital world. The same configuration is used for the balance and tone controls.
Onboard USB DAC
To accurately synchronize its digital circuits, the PMA-A110 has a USB DAC that supports Hi-Res audio, up to 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM and 11.2 MHz DSD. The DAC helps suppress jitter and ensure optimal precision in D/A conversion. Additionally, the DSD transmission methods support WASAPI, ASIO native playback, and DSD Audio over PCM Frames (DoP). The DAC is designed to deliver a clean, high-grade sound.
DAC Master Clock Design
To accurately synchronize digital circuits and the four audio DACs, the Master Clock Design adopts a Dual Low Phase Noise Oscillator, which positions the master clock immediately adjacent to the DACs, suppressing jitter and ensuring optimal precision in D/A conversion. The PMA-A110 also uses a clock oscillator to dramatically reduce phase noise that can cause displacement of frequencies, plus two clock oscillators – one for each sampling frequency (44.1 and 48 kHz) – that can be switched between the frequencies to more thoroughly suppress jitter.
Digital Isolator and Pure Analog Mode
The PMA-A110 is equipped with a high-speed digital isolator circuit between the digital and analog sections to help avoid any interference from the digital circuitry in the analog section. It also features three independent power supplies to help ensure complete isolation for each section and avoid interference. When the amplifier is set to Pure Analog Mode, it turns off all the digital circuits, including the fluorescent display, to help provide clear reproduction of the analog input signal and remove any electrical disturbances that may adversely affect your listening experience.
Robust Power Supply Circuitry
Two transformers are mounted facing opposite directions in a leakage cancelling (LC) mount system to cancel mutual influences of magnetic flux, a source of noise, leaking from the transformers. The large-capacity electrolytic capacitors are used for rectification, and low-loss, low-noise, high-speed Schottky Barrier Diodes are used in the rectifier circuitry to help ensure a sufficient supply of clean current. To achieve a simple, straight circuit configuration, the connection unit between the diode unit and the block capacitor was removed. Thick OFC wiring material is used for the power line to reduce impedance.
Digital Inputs
The PMA-A110 features digital coaxial, USB Type-B, and three optical inputs for connecting nearly any source device. These digital inputs help to improve sound and visual quality of your TV audio, Blu-ray, media players, and more. You can even input high-resolution sound from an audio source on your computer, and with USB-B DAC support, the amplifier can power PCM signals up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD 11.2 MHz; the digital coaxial input supports PCM up to 192 kHz / 24-bit.
TV Auto Standby
The optical and digital coaxial inputs have an auto-sensing mechanism that automatically turns the amplifier on when an audio signal is detected from an external source, like your TV.
Ultra AL32 Processing with 384 kHz / 32-Bit Support
This analog waveform reproduction technology uses data interpolation algorithms that interpolate points that should exist before and after large quantities of data to smooth out the waveform and restore some of the information that was lost during the digital recording. Carefully restoring this data helps produce detailed playback sound that's free of interference, accurately localized, expressive in the lower range, and faithful to the original sound.
MM & MC Phono Equalizer
The onboard phono input supports both MM and MC cartridges, so you can enjoy your entire vinyl collection. The equalizer is a CR type designed for enhanced stability in the high-frequency range and to produce superior sound, particularly when used with a high-quality cartridge like the DL-A110.
Pre-Amp Input
The PMA-A110 provides a fixed-gain pre-amp input, so you can pair an A/V amp with the amplifier and use the connected speakers as front speakers for your home theater.
Gold-Plated Speaker Terminals
The speaker terminals are gold-plated to help prevent corrosion over time and maintain reliable, long-term connections. Thick spades and banana plugs are also supported.
6-Block Chassis Configuration with Direct Mechanical Ground Construction
Built with an aluminum top panel, the amplifier chassis protects the signal circuits from external vibration and helps eliminate adverse effects of mutual interference among the circuits. It has six independent blocks that house the phono equalizer and input circuitry, volume control circuitry, USB-DAC circuitry, amplification circuitry, power section, and control section. With the power section at the center, aluminum feet that support the weight of the internal components, and heat sinks on both sides, the construction is well-balanced and designed to prevent unwanted vibration.
